Introduction
You will have to add ST2022 to steplock.cloud in order for the device to work properly.
ST2022 for Steplock comes with our firmware ready installed. You may have to update the device once it is up and running to ensure it has the lates version.

Installation
Mounting
- Secure the holder to the flat surface with the 4 screws provided in the kit.
- Plug in the ethernet cable or DC power adapter before mounting the ST2022 on the Wall mount.
- Mount the ST2022 on the Wall mount by sliding it down.
The ST2022 connects to your switch directly using a normal POE+ network cable.
Optionaly it can be powered externally using our DC power adapter and connected to network using a normal network cable connected directly to the internal RJ45 connector or through the included Ethernet adapter. The device can also be connected directly to Wi-Fi, but this requires at least firmware version 1.3.3.
Note: The ST2022 can only be powered with 12 volts if you are using external power other than our
DC Power adapter.
Connections
Power - 12V DC
RJ45 - Connection for PoE+ or ethernet.
Ethernet - alternate connection point for the supplied ethernet adapter.
Bell - optional connection of external call button
Lock - Potential-free relay controlled by the "Entrance Door" button on the home screen.
Note: The ST2022 can only be powered with 12 volts if you are using external power other than our
DC Power adapter.
Device setup
Start by adding the device to steplock.cloud. Devices -> All devices -> Add Device -> Enter mac-adress.
Once the device is added go ahead and click the network symbol at the top left if you need to set wifi or Static IP-adress. If you are using a router with DHCP just press "Update" button in the middle of the screen.
Static IP-adress
Once you have pressed the network symbol you should see this screen. Press "Ethernet settings" to set static IP-adress.
Select the option "Static IP" and enter the correct information. This information could be obtained from the owner of the network.
Wi-Fi
Once you have pressed the network symbol you should see this screen. Press "Wi-Fi settings" to join a nearby Wi-Fi network.
Once in the Wi-Fi settings make sure the lever at the top right corner is flipped to the right. All the nearby Wi-Fi networks will show up. Click your network and enter the password to connect.
The device is now installed and ready to be used.
Overview
This is a simple overview of the home page elements and menu options.
- Home - Takes you back to the main screen.
- Booking - function for booking services. (Here you will only find services if they are activated for the given system.)
- Information - Opportunitie for information sharing from the systemowner or housing association.
- Apps - There are no additional features available here as of today.
- Settings - Access to settings.
- Locks - Here you can be assigned direct access to up to 4 locks in an Access system. This is managed by the operator. (This is not the same as granting access rights for an intercom)
- Do Not Disturb - This function causes the answering device to reject the call from the intercom. Activated function is indicated by RED color.
- Entrance door - activates internal relay that can be used for e.g. lock on your own apartment.
- Weather Forecast – This feature must be enabled and set up by the operator.
Sound settings
The sound settings of the ST2022 is good as default but if you need to adjust anything then go to
Settings -> Advanced callsettings and adjust the sound as needed to fit the surrounding of your device.
In order to change the volume of the device follow the order below.
The setting Media volume is the setting that decides how high the volume will be when the intercom is calling the device.
Intercom DND scheme
Optional settings for accessebility can be sett up by clicking Intercom Scheme and selecting custom.
You are now able to select what times you should be able to receive calls.
